The Kokomo Jackrabbits and Kalamazoo Growlers started off the night with the Jackrabbits pulling through for the win during game #1 of their doubleheader. The final score was 4-3. The Jackrabbits defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers during game #2 8-3. Kokomo rallied and captured the lead during the seventh inning scoring three runs over the Growlers. The Mankato MoonDogs defeated the Willmar Stingers 4-1. Cuba Bess (Grand Canyon) contributed two home runs along with three RBI for Mankato during the game. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 7, Kalamazoo Growlers 6 (Game #1) 

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers 7-6. The Jackrabbits had a solid second inning scoring six runs to capture the lead over the Growlers. Jack Kraus (UW-Milwaukee) and Ben Livorsi (Minnesota St-Mankato) both hit doubles and had one RBI each for Kokomo. Another strong performance was by Austin Elder (St. Mary (CA)) who had two RBI for the Jackrabbits. The winning pitcher was Aaron Husson (Central Michigan) who pitched four innings with no runs, no hits, and four strike outs. Jackrabbits Joey Haass (Delaware) came in for the save while the losing pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Michael Dunkelberger (Indiana University). 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 8, Kalamazoo Growlers 3 (Game #2) 

The Kokomo Jackrabbits rallied during the seventh inning scoring three runs in their win over the Kalamazoo Growlers in game #2. The ending game score was 8-3. Kokomo’s Larson Fontenot (Northwestern St.) and Eric Callahan (Millersville) each hit one double and had one RBI. Austin Elder (St. Mary (CA)) had two RBI during tonight’s game. The winning pitcher was Chris Mott (NYIT) who pitched three innings with one run and five strike outs. Jackrabbits Joey Haass (Delaware) came in for the save while the losing pitcher was Kalamazoo’s Spencer Juergens (University of Missouri). 

Kenosha Kingfish 9, Wisconsin Woodchucks 5 

The Kenosha Kingfish dominated the Wisconsin Woodchucks by a score of 9-5. The Kingfish had a total of nine runs and ten hits throughout the game. Mitchell Buban (Wisconsin-Milwaukee) and Mike Jarvis (San Diego State University) hit one home run each while Jarvis recorded two RBI. Woodchucks TJ Reeves (University of Alabama) hit one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Ben Stephens (Eastern Illinois University) who pitched a six innings allowing two runs and three strike outs. Kingfish Jacob DeLabio (Carthage College) recorded the save while the losing pitcher was Nolan Lebamoff (Kankakee Community College). 

Waterloo Bucks 4, Duluth Huskies 2

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the Duluth Huskies 4-2. The Huskies came out of the gates swinging scoring two runs but it was not enough to beat the Bucks. Nico Lima (Oxnard) had two RBI during tonight’s game. Waterloo’s Ethan Copeland (Notre Dame) and Kyler Arenado (UC-Davis) had one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Luke Mattson (UC-San Diego) who gave up two runs and had five strike outs during his five innings of work. The save went to Buck Alec Holcomb (North Dakota State) who pitched two innings while the losing pitcher was Huskies Brock Mosier (San Diego Christian).  

Green Bay Booyah 6, Lakeshore Chinooks 3

The Green Bay Booyah crushed the Lakeshore Chinooks with six runs and six hits in tonight’s game. The final score was 6-3. Daryl Myers (Benedictine College (KS)) hit one home run along with one RBI for the Chinooks. Booyah Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) had one double and two RBI. The winning pitcher was Dalton Wiggins (Marietta) who pitched six innings with one run and four strike outs. Green Bay’s Will Saxton (Florida International) recorded the save while the losing pitcher was Lakeshore’s Jesse Slinger (Lock Haven). 

Battle Creek Bombers 6, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 10

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders beat the Battle Creek Bombers 10-6. The Spiders started the first inning scoring four runs against the Bombers. Fond du Lac’s Tate Kolwyck (Vanderbilt) had four RBI and one double. Tim Elko (Mississippi) and Duncan Hunter (Jacksonville) each had two RBI for the Spiders. Kyle Hall (Indiana Wesleyan) was the games winning pitcher with three strong innings giving up two runs with five strike outs. River Carbone (Arizona Christian University) came in for the save while the losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Blaine Parker (Panola College). 

Bismarck Larks 7, Eau Claire Express 6

The Bismarck Larks had a close game against the Eau Claire Express at 7-6. The Larks pulled through during the ninth inning scoring three runs to capture the win. Express’ Zach Gilles (Central Michigan) had two RBI and one double. Bismarck’s Brody Tanksley (Indiana University-Southeast) had two RBI. The winning pitcher was Drew Mesecher (West Texas AM) who gave up three runs and had one strike out during his six innings on the mound. The losing pitcher was Eau Claire’s Colt Mink (Flagler). 

Willmar Stingers 1, Mankato MoonDogs 4

The Mankato MoonDogs beat the Willmar Stingers 4-1. The MoonDogs had a total of four runs and seven hits throughout tonight’s game. Mankato’s Cuba Bess (Grand Canyon) hit two home runs and had three RBI. Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) was the MoonDogs winning pitcher. Newberg pitched seven innings with one run and six strike outs. Jack Pilcher (Butler) came in for the save while the losing pitcher was Willmar’s Trevor Divinski (Minnesota State- Manakto). 

Madison Mallards 2, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 5

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters defeated the Madison Mallards 5-2. The Rafters had a total of five runs and nine hits in tonight’s game. Wisconsin’s Jake Dunham (Norther Illinois) and Matt Oldham (Elon) each hit home runs. Another strong performance was by Osvaldo Tovalin (Azusa Pacific) who had one double and one RBI. The game’s winning pitcher was Neil Abbatiello (Wagner) who pitched six innings with one run and ten strike outs. Brayden Bonner (Dixie State) had the save while the losing pitcher was Madison’s Eliot Turnquist (Madison College). 

Rochester Honkers 6, St. Cloud Rox 3

The Rochester Honkers won over the St. Cloud Rox by a score of 6-3. The Honkers had a strong seventh inning scoring four runs to capture the lead over the Rox. Rochester’s Mitchell Allen (New Mexico Sate University) had one double and one RBI. St. Cloud’s Garrett Delano (Brown University) and Parker Smejkal (University of Nebraska-Omaha) both had one home run each. The Honkers winning pitcher was Anthony Rodriguez (Monroe College) who pitched two innings with two runs and two strike outs. Keon Taylor (Georgetown College) recorded the save while the losing pitcher was Alex Carrillo (Faulkner University). 

Rockford Rivets 0, Traverse City Pit Spitters 8

The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Rockford Rivets 8-0. The Pit Spitters had a total of eight runs and eight hits in the game. Traverse City’s Andrew Morrow (Michigan State) had three RBI and Daniel Head (New Mexico State) had two RBI. The game’s winning pitcher was Will Buraconak (Indiana State) with no runs, two hits, and five strike outs during his three innings on the mound. The losing pitcher was Rockford’s Jarret Olson (Michigan State). 

La Crosse Loggers 10, Thunder Bay Border Cats 3

The La Crosse Loggers dominated the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a final score of 10-3. The Loggers had a total of ten runs and eight hits throughout tonights game. Loggers Tony Bullard (Arizona) and Ryan Holgate (Arizona) both hit one home run each for the Loggers. The Loggers are moving up in their division and are setting themselves up for a great end of season place and playoff position.
