The Mandan Flickertails and Bismarck Bull Moose lit up the scoreboard on Wednesday night at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, but it was the Flickertails who snapped their two-game losing streak, as they topped the debuting Bull Moose 9-6. Jake Hansen (University of Cincinnati) led the Flickertails offense, going 3-5 with a double and two runs scored. Ben Rushing (Central Florida) went 1-3 at the plate, but had four RBI.

On the mound, Tyler Strechay (West Virginia) got the start and lasted three and one-third innings, allowing one earned run and recording four strikeouts. Connor Langreder (Northern Illinois) picked up his first win of the season, hurling two innings, allowing one run and recording three strikeouts. Brian Craven (Davidson College) picked up the save thanks to one scoreless inning of work.

The Bull Moose had their share of offense, as they were led by Calen Schwabe (North Dakota State), who went 2-5 with two runs scored. Lorenzo Debrecht (Toledo) also went 2-5, picking up an RBI and scoring one run. Jake Snyder (Creighton) led the Bull Moose pitching staff, throwing two shutout innings where he allowed just one hit while striking out four batters.

The Flickertails will now get a day off, while the Bull Moose will return to the diamond on Thursday night when they face the Bismarck Larks at 7:05 p.m.
