The Mandan Flickertails are now on a three-game win streak after defeating the Bismarck Bull Moose 12-5 on Tuesday night. The win improves the Flickertails record to 4-3, just one game back of the Bismarck Larks. The Bull Moose drop to 1-5 on the season, putting then 3.5 games back of the Larks in the North Dakota pod.

Jered Wegner (Creighton University) had a massive game for the Flickertails, as he went 3-4 with a double and five RBI on the night, including a two-RBI double in the top of the sixth that extended the Mandan lead to 7-1. Raheem Salmon (Stetson University) was the only other Flickertail to record multiple hits, as he went 2-4 with two runs scored on the game. Nick Hill got the start on the mound for Mandan, and picked up his first win of the season after throwing five and one-third of an inning, allowing one run on five hits with one strikeout.

The Bull Moose were led by Jake Shier (Tiffin University), who went 3-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Dawson Day (Boise State) had a solid appearance on the mound, throwing two perfect innings, with three strikeouts. Garrett Willis (Central Michigan) then threw two innings, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out four batters.

The Bull Moose will be back in action on Wednesday night when they face the Larks. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
