The Green Bay Booyah picked up a win on Monday on a walk-off sacrifice fly, while the Mankato MoonDogs came within 90 feet of tying their game against the St. Cloud Rox, but couldn’t get the final run across as they fell to 1-8 on the season.

Kalamazoo Growlers 6 Kalamazoo Mac Daddies 3
The Mac Daddies scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth, but the Growlers defense held up, as they took home a 6-3 win. Blake Dunn (Western Michigan) was one of the offensive leaders for the Growlers, going 2-5 with a home run and a pair of RBI. Brett Barrera (Stanford) was 3-5 on the night with two runs scored. Andre Orselli (Ball State) got the win for the Growlers after throwing one scoreless inning with two strikeouts.

Rockford Rivets 9 La Crosse Loggers 4
The Rivets put up five runs in the top of the first before adding three more in the second to take an early lead over the Loggers that they wouldn’t relinquish. Chase Estep (Kentucky) was the offensive hero of the night for Rockford, going 2-4 at the plate, with a double, a home run and four RBI. Connor Manthey (Bradley University) was 2-4 at the plate with a double and one RBI. Jeff DeStefano (Canisius College) got the start on the mound and threw four innings, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out four batters to earn his first win of the season.

Green Bay Booyah 6 Wisconsin Woodchucks 5
The Booyah rallied late to pick up a walk-off victory over the Woodchucks on Monday night. The winning run scored when Ty Olejnik (Wisconsin-Milwaukee) hit a sacrifice fly that allowed Matt McDonald (Lamar University) to score, sending the crowd home happy. Alec Burns (West Virginia) had a big bat for the Booyah, going 2-4 with a home run and two runs scored. McDonald finished 2-3 with both of his hits being doubles. Chandler Ingram (University of Montevallo) was credited with the win, throwing one scoreless inning in relief, with one strikeout.

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 3 Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 1
The Dock Spiders won a pitcher’s duel on Monday night over the Rafters thanks to Zack Lee (Kentucky), who got the start on the mound and threw five innings, allowing one run on three hits and recording a season-high seven strikeouts. He gave way to Alex Vera (Illinois), who threw two shutout innings, allowing a hit and recording a pair of strikeouts. Jack Liffrig (Minnesota) was credited with the save after throwing two perfect innings with three strikeouts. Parker Noland (Vanderbilt) was 1-2 at the plate for Fond du Lac, with an RBI. Tim Elko (Mississippi) was the other Dock Spider to get an RBI, as he went 1-3.

Willmar Stingers 5 Waterloo Bucks 2
The Stingers picked up a road win over the Bucks by a 5-2 score on Monday night thanks in part to a home run from Jayson Newman (Cal State Northridge), who finished 2-4 with two RBI. Zane Denton (Alabama) was 2-3 on the night, with a double and two RBI along with a run scored. Cesar Lopez (Cal Poly-Pomona) was 2-4 for the Stingers, with both his hits being doubles. Dj Wilkinson (Troy) got the start on the mound for Willmar and threw six innings, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out four batters. Wyatt Thompson (Chapman) picked up the save after pitching two perfect innings, with three strikeouts.

St. Cloud Rox 3 Mankato MoonDogs 2
The MoonDogs entered the ninth inning trailing 3-0, but they strung some hits and a St. Cloud error together and had the tying run on third base before the Rox got a groundout to strand the run at third and end the game. The rally started when Maddux Houghton (Lipscomb University) hit a one-out double. After Danny Borgstron (University of Evansville) flew out, Zach Giles (Central Michigan) hit an infield single to put runners on the corner for Mason Hull (Missouri State), who singled to Center, scoring Giles. Zach Kokoska (Kansas State) then singled into center field to score a second run and put the tying run at third base. The game ended when Dylan Phillips (Kansas State) grounded out to first base. R.J. Martinez (Minot State) got the start for the Rox, and threw four innings, allowing four hits and recording six strikeouts. Landen Bourassa (San Francisco) was credited with the win after throwing three scoreless innings, with four strikeouts.
