Shane Barringer (Bellarmine University) didn’t have a lot of offense to work with Tuesday night, but he got the job done, as the Mankato MoonDogs picked up their third straight win with a 1-0 win over the Waterloo Bucks.

Barringer got the start for the MoonDogs and proceeded to turn in a quality start, as he threw seven shutout innings, scattering five hits and striking out seven batters, which is second-most in a single outing this season. In 21 innings pitched, he has allowed four earned runs for an ERA of 1.71, and has struck out 21 batters. He is averaging 2.33 strikeouts per nine innings pitched, and has a WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) of 1.00.
