Jimmy Borzone (Dixie State University) had his best outing of the season on Friday, as he helped the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to a 4-2 win over the Rockford Rivets.
Borzone threw four innings after coming on in relief, allowing just one hit and no runs while striking out a season-high eight batters. This was the fifth time he has seen the mound this season. His season ERA sits at 4.38, with 11 hits allowed and 16 strikeouts.
