Wheaton got the start, and only allowed one hit while striking out six batters. This was his second straight outing where he threw a shutout and managed six strikeouts, and was his fifth shutout of the season. In 20 innings, he has allowed just three earned runs and 10 hits, giving him an ERA of 1.35
