Adam Wheaton (Trine University) threw his third consecutive complete game, as the Growlers narrowly slipped past the Mac Daddies to split a Tuesday night doubleheader.
Wheaton didn’t allow a run, and scattered three hits. He struck out six batters for the third time this season. In 35 innings pitched, he has allowed just three earned runs, giving him an ERA of 0.77. He has allowed 18 hits and recorded 39 strikeouts this season.
