Brock Weirather (Grinnell College) pitched phenomenally on Saturday, but ended up with a no decision after the game went into extra innings, where the Kingfish emerged victorious.
Weirather threw six innings on Saturday, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with a season-high seven strikeouts. In 23.2 innings pitched this season, he has allowed 11 earned runs (4.18 ERA) on 26 hits with 14 strikeouts. He has a WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) of 1.29 on the season.
