Jacob Wesselmann (Briar Cliff College) had a fantastic night on the mound for the Bismarck Bull Moose on Thursday, making a splash in just his second Northwoods League appearance.
Wesselmann got the start against the Bismarck Larks, and threw seven outstanding innings, allowing two runs on five hits with 14 strikeouts. In both his starts this season, he had thrown seven innings, with double-digit strikeouts. His season ERA is 1.29, with 25 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched.
