No-hitters are generally considered to be a rare occurrence in baseball, but for the second time in the last week, it happened in the Michigan pod, with Matt Defay of the Kalamazoo Mac Daddies throwing a perfect game against the Battle Creek Bombers. There was no shortage of hits in Bismarck, as the Bull Moose and Larks had a slugfest, with the Bull Moose coming out on top of the Larks, who maintain their lead in the North Dakota Pod standings.
