Battle Creek Bombers 4 Rockford Rivets 1 — 7 innings

Sy Snedeker (Princeton University) singled, doubled, and scored a run in the Battle Creek Bombers’ 4-1 win over the Rockford Rivets. Lyle Hibbitts (New Mexico State University) threw 6 ⅓ one-run innings. Cam Mcdonald (University of Illinois) scored the Rivets’ run on Jake Donahue’s (Central Michigan University) sacrifice fly. 

 

Rockford Rivets 5 Battle Creek Bombers 1 — 7 innings 

The Rockford Rivets took advantage of seven walks and a Battle Creek error in their 5-1 win over the Bombers. Gregory Ziegler (Missouri State University) singled twice, scored a run, and brought in a run. Harold Coll (San Jacinto College-North) singled, walked, and scored the Bombers’ lone run. 

 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 6 Traverse City Pit Spitters 2

Riley Frey (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) threw six scoreless innings as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters 6-2. Seth Sweet-Chick (University of Kansas) hit three singles, scored a run, and stole a base. Christian Faust (Grand Valley State University) has reached base safely in every Pit Spitters game this season. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish 13  Kalamazoo Growlers 11

Cam Redding (St. Louis University) walked, singled, doubled twice, scored two runs, and brought in two runs as the Kenosha Kingfish out-slugged the Kalamazoo Growlers 13-11. Justin Janas (University of Illinois) was hit by a pitch, walked twice, singled twice, scored two runs, and collected two RBI. Don Goodes (University of Northwestern Ohio) drew three walks, singled twice, and scored three of the Growlers’ runs. 

 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3 Madison Mallards 0 

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters pitching staff combined for 11 strikeouts as they blanked the Madison Mallards 3-0. Addie Burrow (University of Virginia) singled, doubled, and collected two RBI. Zach Storbakken (Madison College) hit two singles and a double for the Mallards. 

 

Green Bay Booyah 6 Kokomo Jackrabbits 4 

Max Wagner (Clemson University) walked, singled, doubled, scored two runs, and collected two RBI in the Green Bay Booyah’s 6-4 win against the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Johnny Hipsman (University of Richmond) singled and brought in two runs. Andrew Semo (Fordham) singled twice and brought in a run for the Jackrabbits.   

 

Duluth Huskies 7 Minnesota Mud Puppies 3 

The Duluth Huskies plated five runs in the third inning en route to a 7-3 win against the Minnesota Mud Puppies. Cason Tollett (University of Arkansas) singled, doubled, and brought in a run. Four Mud Puppies players each recorded two hits. 

 

Bismarck Larks 7 Eau Claire Express 0 

Seth Brewer (Northern State University) threw five scoreless innings as the Bismarck Larks shut out the Eau Claire Express 7-0. The Larks pitching staff combined for 14 strikeouts and held the Express to four hits. Bismarck scored six of their runs in the sixth inning. 

 

Lakeshore Chinooks 5 Wisconsin Woodchucks 1 

Nathan Rose (Bowling Green State University) singled twice, doubled, and scored a run in the Lakeshore Chinooks’ 5-1 victory over the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The Chinooks pitching staff combined for 10 strikeouts. Noah Fitzgerald (Young Harris College) singled, doubled, and brought in a run for Wisconsin. 

 

Rochester Honkers 4 Mankato MoonDogs 3 

J.J. Cruz (California State University-Fullerton) collected two hits, an RBI, and he scored a run in the Rochester Honkers’ 4-3 win over the Mankato MoonDogs. Mac Horvath (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) walked, doubled, and scored a run. Adam Fogel (University of Hawaii) singled and homered for the MoonDogs. 

 

Waterloo Bucks 5 St. Cloud Rox 2

Paul Steffensen (St. Cloud State University) doubled, scored a run, and collected an RBI in the Waterloo Bucks 5-2 win against the St. Cloud Rox. Emiliano Gonzalez (Glendale College) hit his first home run of the season. Jack Winkler (University of San Francisco) walked, singled, and scored one of the Rox runs. 

 

La Crosse Loggers 9 Willmar Stingers 5

Kyle Casper (University of Arizona) walked, singled four times, and brought in four runs for the La Crosse Loggers in their 9-5 victory over the Willmar Stingers. Michael Dizon II (University of San Diego) hit three singles, scored a run, and collected an RBI. Three Stingers hitters each collected two hits.
