Three Games Go Into Extra Innings on Tuesday 

Bismarck Larks 15 Minnesota Mud Puppies 6 

The Bismarck Larks plated seven runs in the second inning en route to a 15-6 win over the Minnesota Mud Puppies. Three Larks hitters each collected two hits. Ben Palmer (Iowa Western Community College) singled twice, scored two runs, and brought in a run for the Mud Puppies.

Kamron Willman (Kansas State) walked, hit two singles, recorded two RBI, and scored a run in the Bismarck Larks’ 6-3 win against the Minnesota Mud Puppies. Drew Beazley (South Dakota State University) singled and homered. The Mud Puppies scored all three of their runs in the third inning. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish 6 Traverse City Pit Spitters 2

Kirk Liebert (University of Kentucky) hit a grand slam in the fourth inning as the Kenosha Kingfish defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Justin Janas (University of Illinois) had three hits and an RBI. Trey Yunger (Wofford College) had two hits for the Pit Spitters. 

 

Kalamazoo Growlers 4 Battle Creek Bombers 3

Damon Lux (Duke University) and Luke Storm (Duke University) each walked, hit two singles, and brought in a run for the Kalamazoo Growlers in their 4-3 win over the Battle Creek Bombers. Dominic Pitelli (University of Miami) had two hits and a stolen base. Mason Sykes (University of Toledo) doubled and homered for Battle Creek. 

 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 5 Green Bay Booyah 2 

Bobby Vath (Arizona Western College) finished his start from June 8 and struck out six batters. Kevin Kilpatrick (Central Florida Community College) singled twice, doubled, brought in two runs, and scored once. Max Wagner (Clemson University) singled and doubled for the Booyah. 

 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 10 Green Bay Booyah 5 — 7 innings

Tyler Macgregor (Columbia University) hit two singles and a double and scored a run for the Wisconsin Woodchucks in their 10-5 seven-inning win over the Green Bay Booyah. Griffin Lockwood (Central Michigan University) singled twice and brought in two runs. Nick Dagnello (College of Charleston) singled, doubled, scored a run, and brought in two of the Booyah’s runs. 

 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 8 Rockford Rivets 7

Jakob Marsee (Central Michigan) hit two singles and a double, brought in two runs, and scored twice as the Kokomo Jackrabbits won 8-7 over the Rockford Rivets. Chase Meidroth (San Diego) walked, singled three times, and collected three RBI. Jared Cushing (Xavier University) walked, singled twice, hit a double, and brought in two Rivets’ runs. 

 

Madison Mallards 5 Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 0 

Andrew Neu (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) threw six scoreless innings for the Madison Mallards in their shutout victory over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. Brant Shellenbarger (University of Akron) hit three singles, collected two RBI, and scored a run. Tavian Josenberger (University of Kansas) walked, singled, and doubled for the Dock Spiders. 

Rochester Honkers 6 Duluth Huskies 5 — 10 innings 

Jackson Forbes (San Jose State University) drew a walk in the bottom of the tenth inning to bring J.J. Cruz (California State University, Fullerton) in to score the winning run in the Rochester Honkers’ 6-5 walk off win against the Duluth Huskies. Otto Grimm (University of Minnesota) singled and homered. Ambren Voitik (Northern Oklahoma-Enid) singled, doubled, scored a run, and brought in a Huskies run. 

 

Mankato MoonDogs 6 Willmar Stingers 5 — 10 innings 

Alex Baeza (University of Hawaii) walked with the bases loaded to bring Matthew Higgins (Bellarmine University) home to score the winning run in the Mankato MoonDogs 6-5 walk off victory over the Willmar Stingers. Baeza and Higgins each recorded two hits. Daniel Walsh (Western California University) singled, doubled, scored a run, and brought in two of the Stingers’ runs. 

 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6 Lakeshore Chinooks 3

Couper Cornblum (Wichita State University) walked, singled three times, and scored a run in the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6-3 win against the Lakeshore Chinooks. Eight Rafters batters reached base safely. Brendan Sher (University of Iowa) walked and collected two singles for the Chinooks. 

 

Eau Claire Express 11 Waterloo Bucks 3

The Eau Claire Express scored six runs in the ninth inning to secure their 11-3 victory over the Waterloo Bucks. Four Express batters each collected two hits. Joshua Kasevich (University of Oregon) singled twice and brought in two of the Bucks’ runs. 

 

St. Cloud Rox 5 La Crosse Loggers 4 

Chris Esposito (University of Nebraska-Omaha) singled in the bottom of the tenth inning to bring Nate Swarts (Washington State University) in to score the winning run as the St. Cloud Rox walked off 5-4 over the La Crosse Loggers. Three Rox hitters each recorded two hits. Christian Dicochea (University of Washington) walked, singled, tripled, and scored two of the Loggers’ runs.
