Mankato MoonDogs 2 Waterloo Bucks 1 — 7 innings 

Preston Clifford (Washington State University) singled in the bottom of the seventh inning to bring Evan Berkey (University of Evansville) home to score the winning run as the Mankato MoonDogs walked off 2-1 against the Waterloo Bucks. Justin Boyd (Oregon State University) singled and scored a run. Garrett McGowan walked, singled, and scored the Bucks’ only run. 

 

Mankato MoonDogs 3 Waterloo Bucks 2 — 8 innings

Justin Boyd (Oregon State University) scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Mankato MoonDogs the 3-2 walk-off victory over the Waterloo Bucks. Will Hanafan (Creighton University) walked, singled, and brought in a run. Josh Kasevich (University of Oregon) walked, singled twice, and brought in a run for the Bucks. 

 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 9 Traverse City Pit Spitters 2 — 7 innings 

Josh Nicoloff (Kansas State) singled twice, doubled, scored once, and brought in two runs for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in their 9-2 victory over the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Sterling Hayes (Creighton University) walked, doubled, scored twice, and brought in a run. Chris Monroe (University of Illinois at Springfield) and Michael Stygles (Oakland University) each singled and brought in a run for the Pit Spitters. 

 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 6 Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 0 — 7 innings 

Jacob Marcus (University of Richmond) threw seven no-hit innings as the Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6-0. Chris Monroe (University of Illinois at Springfield) and Trey Yunger (Wofford College) each had three hits. Mckinley Erves was the only Rafters baserunner — drawing a walk. 

 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 4 Kalamazoo Growlers 1 

Chase Meidroth (San Diego) singled, doubled, scored once, and brought in two runs for the Kokomo Jackrabbits in their 4-1 win over the Kalamazoo Growlers. Martin Vincelli-Simard (Sacramento State) doubled and homered. Brooks Coetzee (Notre Dame) doubled and brought in the Growlers’ lone run. 

 

Rochester Honkers 5 Minnesota Mud Puppies 4 — 7 innings 

Jason Swan (Georgia Southern University) singled to bring Zach Cole (Ball State University) home to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Rochester Honkers walked off 5-4 against the Minnesota Mud Puppies. Otto Grimm (University of Minnesota) singled twice, scored once, and brought in a run. Peter Brookshaw (North Dakota State University) and Easton Bertrand (University of Minnesota) each hit their first home runs of the season for the Mud Puppies. 

 

Rochester Honkers 11 Minnesota Mud Puppies 2 — 7 innings 

The Rochester Honkers scored seven runs in the second inning en route to an 11-2 victory over the Minnesota Mud Puppies. Jason Sawn (Georgia Southern University) singled twice, scored once, and brought in a run. Peter Brookshaw (North Dakota State University) doubled twice and scored a run. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish 7 Rockford Rivets 4 

Chase Estep (University of Kentucky) singled twice, scored once, and brought in two runs in the Kenosha Kingfish’s 7-4 win over the Rockford Rivets. Every Kingfish hitter reached base at least once. Jake Donahue (Central Michigan University) singled and brought in two runs for Rockford. 

 

Eau Claire Express 8 Duluth Huskies 1

Max Blessinger (Dallas Baptist University) walked twice, doubled, scored once, and brought in two runs as the Eau Claire Express won 8-1 against the Duluth Huskies. Zach Lechnir (Central Michigan University) walked, singled twice, and scored two runs. Peyton Powell (University of Texas at Austin) singled and scored the Huskies’ only run. 

 

Willmar Stingers 9 La Crosse Loggers 6

William Hammiter (University of Alabama) Grant Kerry (Northwest Nazarene University), and Josh Fitzgerald (Kirkwood Community College) each had three hits in the Willmar Stingers’ 9-6 victory over the La Crosse Loggers. Every Stingers hitter reached base at least once. Michael Dixon II (University of San Diego) singled, doubled, and brought in two runs for La Crosse. 

 

Green Bay Booyah 4 Lakeshore Chinooks 3

Jake Berg (Jacksonville University) hit three singles and scored twice in the Green Bay Booyah’s 4-3 win over the Lakeshore Chinooks. Max Wagner (Clemson University) drew two walks and scored a run. Jackson Gray (Western Kentucky University) walked, singled, and brought in two runs for Lakeshore. 

 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 14 Madison Mallards 8

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders scored eight runs in the second inning en route to a 14-8 victory over the Madison Mallards. Jackson Loftin (Oral Roberts University) drew three walks and hit two home runs. Drake Baldwin (Missouri State University) walked, singled, and homered for the Mallards. 

 

St. Cloud Rox 7 Bismarck Larks 2 

The St. Cloud Rox scored five runs in the sixth inning en route to a 7-2 win against the Bismarck Larks. Otto Kemp (Point Loma Nazarene University) singled and homered. Drew Beazley (South Dakota State University) doubled twice, scored a run, and collected an RBI for the Larks. 

 

Wisconsin Woodchucks @ Battle Creek Bombers — Postponed

This game will be made up in Wausau as part of a double header beginning at 5:05pm CT on Aug. 5. The Woodchucks will be the home team for Game 1 and the Bombers will be the home team in Game 2. Both games will be seven innings.
