The Lakeshore Chinooks win their second game in a row and their 16th win of the season as they defeated Battle Creek Battle Jacks in a 10 inning victory. Derek Clark from the Traverse City Pit Spitters earned his third Northwoods League Pitcher of the night throwing seven innings and now leading the league in strikeouts. As Clark led his team to win tonight the Pit Spitters are now only a win away from taking the second place standing in the Great Lakes East. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 5, Kenosha Kingfish 2

The Traverse City Pit Spitters take the first game of the series against the Kenosha Kingfish 5-2. The Pit Spitters scored four runs in the seventh innings with an RBI triple by Christian Beal (University of Richmond) and RBI double by Jakob Marsee (Central Michigan University). Marsee had two hits with two RBI and two stolen bases. Camden Traficante (Stetson University) reached base three times with a single, double and walk. Derek Clark (Northwood University) earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, throwing seven innings with nine strikeouts and allowing only one run to score. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 4, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 2

The Kokomo Jackrabbits earned their ninth win of the season against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4-2. Mark Mcnelly (Seton Hall University) reached base three times with a single, triple and walk scoring twice. Riley Garczynski (Indiana University Kokomo) also reached base three times with two singles and a walk driving in one run. Richard Kiel (Menlo College) started the game throwing the first seven innings allowing only two runs to score with six strikeouts. 

St.Cloud Rox 7, Bismarck Larks 0

The St.Cloud Rox defeated the Bismarck Larks 7-0. The Rox struck first, scoring the first three runs in the fifth inning. Trevor Austin (Mercer University) led the offense with three hits and three RBI. Brice Matthews (University of Nebraska) also had three hits with a double scoring twice as he reached base. Ryan Jackson (University of Nevada, Reno) had two hits with a walk driving in one run. Joseph Battaglia (Southern University and A&M College) had the win on the mound throwing six scoreless innings with four strikeouts. 

Kalamazoo Growlers 9, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 8

The Kalamazoo Growlers rallied back to take down the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 9-8. Sam Kirkpatrick (Belmont) had a single in the fourth inning scoring two runs. Kirkpatrick had three RBI on the night. Trey Lipsey (Ohio State University) reached base and scored three times with two hits, a walk and one stolen base. Anthony Stephan (University of Virginia) drove in the final run of the game with his second single of the game. Tyler Johnson (Alma College) had the win on the mound throwing two innings. 

Madison Mallards 2, Rockford Rivets 1

The Madison Mallards received their 15th win of the season against the Rockford Rivets 2-1. The Mallards struck first, scoring their only two runs of the game in the first inning. Jan Rollon (Southern University and A&M College) had the first hit of the night with a double to right field and later scored on a sac fly. Scott Shaw (Rider University) reached first base on a walk and scored on a wild pitch. Justin Miller (Purdue University Fort Wayne) had the win on the mound throwing two innings with three strikeouts. 

Wausau Woodchucks 8, Green Bay Rockers 3

The Wausau Woodchucks won the first game of the series as they defeated the Green Bay Rockers 8-3. Hunter Dorraugh (San Jose State University) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night with two home runs. Kevin Kilpatrick (University of Houston) contributed to the offense with a single, double and a walk. Jack Wenninger (University of Illinois) had the win on the mound throwing six innings with four strikeouts giving up only four hits. Tyler Denu (University of Evansville) threw the last inning of the game with two strikeouts. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 4, Battle Creek Battle Jacks 3

The Lakeshore Chinooks defeated the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 4-3 in a 10 inning game. With a runner on first and second in the bottom of the 10th inning Garret Martin (Oklahoma State University) walked off the game with a single to center field. Joey Spence (Notre Dame) and  Marcus Clone (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) both went two for four with two singles. Kanan Butler (Lenoir-Rhyne University) had the win on the mound, throwing the last two innings with five strikeouts. 

Rochester Honkers 6, Duluth Huskies 2

The Rochester Honkers took down the Duluth Huskies 6-2. The Honkers struck first with a two run triple by Alex Pimentel (California State University, Long Beach). Michael Brown (University of Washington) led the offense with two hits including a home run with a stolen base. Theo Hardy (San Jose State University) reached base three times with a hit and two walks with a stolen base. Nathan Hansen (San Joaquin Delta College) had the win throwing the first five innings with three strikeouts. 

Mankato MoonDogs 6, Waterloo Bucks 4

The Mankato MoonDogs win their third game in a row defeating the Waterloo Bucks 6-4. Brendan Hord (University of Evansville) had one hit with a triple, one walk and three RBI. Kai Roberts (University of Utah) had one hit with three walks scoring twice as he reached base. Weston Lombard (University of San Francisco) started the game throwing the first six innings with seven strikeouts. The MoonDogs generated eight hits with zero errors to take the win. 

Willmar Stingers 10, Eau Claire Express 2

The Willmar Stingers won their 17th game of the season as they took down the Eau Claire Express 10-2. Jakob Christian (Point Loma Nazarene University) led the offense with three hits including two singles, a home run and four RBI. Will Hodo (University of Alabama) had the second home run of the game with three RBI. Joey Walls (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) reached base three times with three stolen bases scoring each time. Smith Pinson (Kennesaw State University) was the starting pitcher throwing seven innings with six strikeouts and allowed two runs to score.
