The Kenosha Kingfish received a brilliant performance from their starting pitcher Ross Thompson (St. Ambrose University) in a 2-0 victory over the Kalamazoo Growlers on Monday afternoon. Thompson earned the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award to start the 2023 season, as he threw five scoreless innings and allowed four hits with nine strikeouts.
The Kenosha Kingfish will face the Growlers again Tuesday night at 6:35 PM.
