OF Gabe Knowles and LHP Sam Bridges will be spending their summer in Duluth.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tGabe Knowles is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound freshman from New Ulm, MN. In his senior season at New Ulm Cathedral High School, he posted a .436 career batting average with 6 homeruns and 27 stolen bases. While at Cathedral, he earned 4 letters in baseball and was named all-state in 2015.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tSam Bridges, a South St. Paul native, will be starting his first season with the Gophers. While in high school, Bridges was name Metro East All-Conference and all-section his junior and senior seasons. He was also named Metro East Conference Player of the Year his senior year after posting a record of 4-0.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Huskies open the 2017 season with four road games but open at Wade Stadium Saturday, June 3rd against the Willmar Stingers.
