The Duluth Huskies continue to fill roster spots in anticipation for next season<\/em><\/p>\n

Zac Filipiak<\/a><\/p>\n

Duluth, Minn. – As we inch closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, Husky fans from all around are thankful
\nfor summer days, fresh-cut grass, and a cold Bent Paddle pint (or two). Although it\u2019s a little too chilly for
\nthe home opener at legendary Wade Stadium, it\u2019s a great time to pick up some new Husky gear from
\nHarley\u2019s Hut for the holiday season! Let\u2019s get down to it; now introducing the newest members of your
\nDuluth Huskies.<\/p>\n

Bret Madren 6\u20193\u2019\u2019, 220-pound catcher from Sandy Springs, GA. He attended St.Francis high school and
\nlater committed to play college baseball in Missouri. He\u2019s a powerful right-handed hitter that isn\u2019t afraid
\nto take a fastball deep; confidently stepping into pitches and sending them soaring into left field, and
\nmaking it look easy. His power is also shown on defense when he delivers balls to second base urgently.
\nHe rarely lets anything get past home plate. Madren\u2019s strong and elevated frame will make for a durable
\nsafety net behind home plate when the Duluth Huskies take the field in 2020.<\/p>\n

Wesley Case is a 6\u20192\u2019\u2019, 195-pound right-handed pitcher from Granbury, TX. He attended Granbury High
\nSchool and then committed to play college baseball with the Murray State Aggies. Case spent last
\nSummer playing for the Hastings Sodbusters of the Expedition League where he appeared in 8 games
\nand pitched 29.1 innings, finishing with an ERA of 4.6 and a 500 record; doing what he could to help out
\na displeasing Sodbusters 2019 campaign. He will look to take the next step into the Northwoods League
\nin 2020, playing with the up and coming Duluth Huskies. This young man will no doubt be a standout
\nwhen he enters the Twin Ports with his incredible mullet; its a signature look that doesn\u2019t disappoint.<\/p>\n

Blake Rohm is a 6\u20195\u2019\u2019 RHP from Superior, Colorado. He attended Broomfield High School and later
\ncommitted to play D1 college baseball at the University of Virginia. Rohm is working towards a degree in
\nEconomics but has big dreams to play Major League Baseball. Rohm has an impressive 90 mph fastball and shows versatility with his speedy 6.5-second 60-yard dash. He was named a 2019 JUCO All-Academic
\nAll-American and a member of the 2018 ACC Academic Honor roll. He has some great advice for a young
\nup and coming baseball player, \u201cPlay hard and have fun\u201d Rohm says,\u201d These are two areas you can
\ncontrol and be an athlete has a short shelf life\u201d.<\/p>\n
