Eight Huskies get RBI\u2019s in 12-8 victory.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Duluth, Minn. – <\/b>The Huskies looked for the sweep against the Bismarck Larks in game two of their two game set at Wade Stadium in Duluth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pat Miner got the start for the Huskies, while Seth Brewer was on the bump for the Larks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The action got started early in this one, as the Huskies backed their starter with 5 runs in the bottom of the first. Kristian Campbell got things started with an RBI single. Two batters later, Peyton Powell smacked a double to bring in two more runs. Ambren Voitik got an RBI single of his own, then Devin Hurdle contributed to the party with an RBI double. Seth Brewer reached the 35 pitch inning limit in the first inning, and was pulled to start the second.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Larks answered right back in the top of the second. With two outs and the bases loaded, Reggie Williams scored on a wild pitch. Kaiden Cardoso then hit a single to bring in another run. At the end of the second inning, the Huskies were up 5-2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the bottom of the fourth, Eddie Rosario found himself up at the plate with the bases loaded and one out. The cleanup hitter hit a single into left field to bring in two runs for the home team.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The very next inning Tyler Leroy demolished a two run home run over the left field wall. At the end of the fifth inning, the Huskies were cruising, leading the game 9-2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pat Miner went 6.0 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out six. Seth Brewer was replaced by Jake Lynch, Julio Romero, and Will Chauffe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Replacing Pat Miner was Caleb Gallant. Aaron Mann in the seventh inning found himself with runners on the corners and one out. He hit a sacrifice fly to make it a 9-3 game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Huskies answered back in the bottom half of the frame, when Jonathan Vastine drilled a double into center field to bring in another two runs. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Jared Mettam joined the party with an RBI single. Heading into the top of the ninth, the Huskies were leading 12-3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Darryl Johnson Jr came in to try to close things out, but the Larks were able to put a five spot in the ninth to force the Huskies to turn to Isaac Rhode. Rhode was able to close the game out, as the Huskies ended up winning the game by a score of 12-8.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Huskies have two days off before coming back to The Wade to take on the Rochester Honkers on Wednesday, June 29th. It\u2019ll be college night at Wade Stadium, so students should bring their college ID\u2019s to get discounts throughout the game. First pitch is at 6:35PM CT, and gates open at 5:35.<\/span><\/p>\n
