The final score was 9-8 in a game that featured multiple lead changes.<\/p>\n<p>The Rox took a early four-run lead, but the Express posted a seven-run 3rd inning thanks in part to Sam Kuchinski&#8217;s (Montevallo) grand slam. St. Cloud snatched the advantage back in the 5th, but the Express answered once again, this time on a solo homer off the bat of Cadyn Schwabe (North Dakota State) to tie things up. Trevor Haskins (Stanford) made his fourth hit of the day a big one, driving in the go-ahead run in the 7th. Matt Helwig (Lewis) shut the door in the 9th for his fourth save of the season.<\/p>\n<p>The Express have the day off tomorrow with the first half of the season coming to an end.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i>###<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The Eau Claire Express is a member of the Northwoods League, the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players.
