The Express will be awarding prizes and ticket discounts to those who participate in Throwback Thursday. To receive discounted throwback ticket prices from the inaugural season in 2005, fans will use the promo code TBT when purchasing general admission tickets online. The acronym for Throwback Thursday, TBT, will be used throughout the Eau Claire Express social media sites leading up to and during the Thursday night game.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">The first contest leading up to the Throwback Thursday game will be implemented on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ecexpress\">Eau Claire Express Facebook<\/a> page. To enter the contest, fans will send a Facebook message to the Express with a picture and caption of themselves from their favorite baseball or softball memory. These pictures will then be posted in an album on the Eau Claire Express Facebook page. Contestants will have the opportunity to &ldquo;share&rdquo; their own photo from the album. The contest will open Thursday, <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">May 22<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\"> at 10am and the picture that gains the most &ldquo;likes&rdquo; by 10am on <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">May 29<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\"> will win a pair of box seat tickets for that evening&rsquo;s Throwback Thursday game as well as two promo hats.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">The second contest promoting the Throwback Thursday event will be held on the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ecexpress\">Eau Claire Express Twitter<\/a> page. This contest requires fans to tweet a picture of themselves wearing an old baseball or softball jersey, use the hashtag #ExpressTBT, and tag @ecexpress in the tweet. The Eau Claire Express will retweet the five most creative pictures submitted and these individuals will each be awarded a pair of general admission tickets for the Throwback Thursday game. The Eau Claire Express will retweet winners on <\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">May 28<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">The final contest will be held at Carson Park during the Throwback Thursday game. Trivia will be posted on the various social media sites at the end of each inning up until the 6<\/span><sup style=\"line-height: 1.6em\">th<\/sup><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em\"> inning. The first fan to bring the correct answer to the Pot of Gold booth, located on the first base platform, will win an Eau Claire Express novelty item.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif\">The Express begin their 10th season of play in the Northwoods League on&nbsp;<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Tuesday, May 27<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;versus the Lakeshore Chinooks. First pitch is scheduled for&nbsp;<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">6:35 PM<\/span><\/span>&nbsp;with gates opening at&nbsp;<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5:30<\/span><\/span>.
