Logo release kicks off the Northwoods League\u2019s 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season Celebration; commemorative content, graphics and charitable initiatives to be implemented throughout the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rochester, Minn. \u2013 The Northwoods League is turning 25 this summer. To commemorate this quarter century milestone, the League has unveiled a \u201c25 Seasons\u201d logo that will be featured on-field and across its digital platforms throughout the 2018 campaign.<\/p>\n

Visitors to\u00a0Northwoodsleague.com<\/a>\u00a0and its network of team websites will see the celebratory theme prominently displayed across site headers and background graphics. League social media accounts, the Northwoods League mobile app, and its extensive webcasting and video platform will also showcase 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season-themed graphics and content this summer.<\/p>\n

On the field, 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season patches will be featured on all team home, road and alternate uniforms, along with umpire uniforms. Team batting practice tops will be adorned with a 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season design, and a commemorative baseball that includes the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season logo will be used.<\/p>\n

Through social media and website content to be released starting in March and continuing through Opening Day, fans will be able to revisit 25 Memorable Moments from the Northwoods League\u2019s first 25 years.<\/p>\n

The 2018 season, which opens on May 29th<\/sup>, is sure to be filled with memory-making moments of its own. Look for details coming soon about the 2018 Northwoods League All-Star Game and an initiative out of the Northwoods League Foundation that will be part of the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Season Celebration.<\/p>\n

The Express begin season number 14 in the Northwoods League on May 29 as they travel to Rochester, Minn. for the season opener against the Rochester Honkers. They continue to La Crosse to take on the Loggers for one game before opening their home schedule at Carson Park on Friday, June 1 versus the La Crosse Loggers. First pitch of the home opener is set at 7:05 p.m. and the game will be followed with a fireworks show.<\/p>\n
