Ball has had an exciting start to his spring. He is hitting .272 with 24 RBI\u2019s and 12 extra base knocks including seven homeruns, three of which came in a single game against Oral Roberts in March. The first baseman gained NJCAA First-Team All-Region and All-District First-Team honors in 2017 while playing junior college ball and led North Iowa with 14 home runs in 2018 while hitting .294 with 44 RBI\u2019s. Notably, Ball is the teammate of 2018 Northwoods League MVP Auggie Isaacson at DBU.<\/p>\n<table width=\"619\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"150\"><strong>Tim Ewald<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"37\"><strong>P<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"41\"><strong>6\u20190\u201d<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"40\"><strong>180<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"28\"><strong>Fr. <\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"143\"><strong>St. Peters, MO<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"180\"><strong>DBU<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Ewald, a left handed hurler for the Patriots prepped at Francis Howell Central High School in Missouri where he was a three-year letter winner for the Spartans and head coach Ray Howard. Ewald was named a 2018 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American, a two-time Rawlings-Perfect Game Underclass Honorable Mention All-American as sophomore and Junior, and played for the Kansas City Royals scout team.<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Baptist currently holds a record of 21-7 after sweeping Valparaiso in a three game set over the weekend and falling to #22 Baylor Tuesday night. The Patriots have also picked up wins over #25 Oklahoma and 2018 Big Ten Champions and NCAA Super Region qualifiers Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>The Express will begin their 2019 season with a four-game road trip to face the Larks in Bismarck before returning to Eau Claire to kick off their home schedule Junes 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0at 7:05 against the Duluth Huskies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt 0in\" align=\"center\">###<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in;margin-bottom: .0001pt;text-align: justify\"><em>The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
