Raftery went on to continue his career as Frederick Keys\u2019 Director of Sponsorship and radio play-by-play broadcaster before becoming the Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and Reno 1868 FC. Raftery was elevated to become the Vice President of Corporate Sponsorships for the two teams prior to his promotion to Reno 1868 FC General Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Raftery served as an Assistant Coach for the UW-Eau Claire Women\u2019s soccer team in 2013. He helped the Blugolds to an overall record of 8-9-3 and a WIAC Semifinal appearance. Raftery played collegiately for division III Hood College in Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>Reno 1868 FC play in the USL Championship, a 36-team league at the top of the United Soccer League pyramid, one division beneath MLS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">###<\/p>\n<p><em>The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The 25-year old summer collegiate league is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.\u00a0A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff,\u00a0over 200\u00a0former Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball,\u00a0including three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist (CHC) and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET) and Curtis Granderson (MIA).\u00a0\u00a0All league games are viewable live via the\u00a0<\/em>Northwoods League portal<em>.
