Andy Neborak informed the staff of the Eau Claire Express of his intention to resign from the organization and explore new job opportunities within the Chippewa Valley. Since joining the Express as an intern while attending UW-Eau Claire in 2007, Neborak has served in many capacities, most recently as the team\u2019s Chief Financial Officer.<\/p>\n

Bill Rowlett, Managing Director of the Express, was surprised by Neborak\u2019s announcement but was supportive of his decision.\u00a0 \u201cDale (Varsho) and I wish Andy the very best in his pursuit of employment.\u00a0 His contributions to our organization are far too numerous to list\u2026and he will be missed.”<\/p>\n

The Express will attempt to replace Neborak\u2019s accounting responsibilities with external assistance while his sales contacts will be distributed internally.\u00a0 During this transition period, business partners can contact Express General Manager Jacob Servais at\u00a0jacob@eauclaireexpress.com<\/a> to discuss any questions that they might have.<\/p>\n

The Eau Claire Express are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Having completed its\u2019 26th season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, over 230 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist (CHC) and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS). As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and MLB All-Stars Jordan Zimmermann (DET) and Curtis Granderson (MIA).
