The partnership begins immediately and will run throughout the upcoming season. Eau Claire Fitness (formerly Gold\u2019s Gym Eau Claire) will serve as the exclusive workout facility of Eau Claire Express Baseball, providing our athletes with the equipment and services they need to perform at the top of their game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are\u00a0excited to continue this partnership with Eau Claire Fitness,\u201d Assistant General Manager Sammi Costello said. \u201cEau Claire Fitness has become an area for our players to train during the summer and to feel a part of the Eau Claire community off the field as well as on the field.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to serving our players, Express fans are also able to join Eau Claire Fitness. Having completed its\u2019 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff, over 270 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time All-Star and 2016 Roberto Clemente Award winner Curtis Granderson, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (LAD), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS). As well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and 2019\/2021 Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and 2021 All-Star, MLB Gold Glove finalist and 2019 Second Team All-MLB shortstop Marcus Semien (TOR).
