FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders have announced three more pitchers who have been added to the 2018 roster.  Three players from the Big East Conference will be joining the team this summer including Sam Hubbe (Butler), Jacob Voss (Creighton), & Ryan Pfutzenreuter (Villanova).

Hubbe, a 6’2” junior pitcher, is entering his third season of play for Butler University.  Hubbe ended the season last year with a 2-0 record on the mound making nine total appearances and starting five games.  He struck out 13 batters over 25.2 innings of work and ended the year with a 3.16 ERA.

Voss is a 6’9” redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher from Creighton University.

Pfutzenreuter, a 6’1” sophomore pitcher, will play his second season for Villanova this spring.  Last season, Pfutzenreuter appeared in 14 games with one start going 2-1 with one save and a 3.75 ERA. He held opponents to a .236 batting average and did not surrender a home run to 105 batters faced.  He logged 24.0 innings and allowed 21 hits, while giving up 13 runs (10 earned), walking 14 and recording 17 strikeouts.
