FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are excited to welcome back three players from last year’s inaugural squad who will be returning in 2018.  Thomas Luevano, Ryan Connolly, and Houston Glad will all be back with the Dock Spiders this summer.

Glad, a 5’10” junior right-handed pitcher, pitched in eight games for the Dock Spiders last season.  He pitched 13 innings finishing with a 1.39 ERA.

Luevano, a 6’0” infielder from Creighton, played in 47 games for the Dock Spiders last season.  He batted .294 with 24 RBI and 28 runs scored.  Last year at Creighton, Luevano started and played in 49 games batting .247 and leading his team in runs scored with 29.

Connolly, a 6’4” left-handed pitcher from Creighton is playing his first season with Creighton.  He played last spring at Iowa Western Community College.  Connolly started a team-high 10 games for the Dock Spiders last season finishing with a 3-3 record.  He ended the season with a 5.40 ERA and led the team in strikeouts with 51.
