FOND DU LAC, WI – The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are excited to announce the signings of three Big Ten players. Zeb Adreon (Iowa), Austin Martin (Iowa), and Kellen Sarver (Illinois) will all be joining the Dock Spiders’ squad this summer.
Adreon, a junior utility player, is entering his first season with the Hawkeyes. Last season, Adreon played at Southeastern CC where he was a two-time second-team all-region honoree. He batted .351 (59-of-168) with 12 doubles, five home runs, and two triples as a sophomore last year.
Martin, a junior catcher, is also entering his first season with the Hawkeyes after playing last season at Southeastern CC. He batted .309 with 32 RBIs, 46 runs, and three home runs as a sophomore and helped lead the team to a conference title in 2018. Martin was also recognized as a first-team academic all-region honoree last season.
Sarver, a 6’2” redshirt freshman from the University of Illinois, plays both catcher and first base. In high school at Champaign Centennial, he was named All-Big 12 1st team and All-region 1st team. He also wrestled in high school.
