\n\tFOND DU LAC, WI- The four game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday<\/span> night when the Wisconsin Woodchucks (16-20) defeated the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (16-21) 3-1.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tWisconsin wouldn't take long to get on the board, as they scored three 1st inning runs. Dock Spiders starter Ryan Connolly lasted just the one inning after throwing 35 pitches. Connolly ended his day allowing three runs on two hits and two walks. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter scoring three runs in the opening inning, the Woodchucks offense would go scoreless for the remainder of the game. However, Woodchucks starting pitcher Kellen Rholl was dominant against the Spiders offense. Rholl finished his day after working six innings and allowing only one run.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFondy would score their lone run of the game with the bases loaded in the 6th inning on a double play ball. The Spiders offense finished with just one run on three hits. \n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe real story of the game, despite the loss, was Kyle Huckaby. Huckaby came on in the 2nd inning and was nearly flawless. The lefty out of Eastern Michigan hurled 8 scoreless innings and allowed only one hit, hit one batter and another reached on an a catcher's interference. Huckaby faced the minimum and out of the 24 batters he faced, he struck out eight. However, the dominant pitching wasn't enough as the Spiders dropped the contest 3-1.\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFondy will look to even the series against the Wisconsin Woodchucks from Athletic Field in Wausau, WI tomorrow<\/span> night at 6:35<\/span>. Tristan Baker is the probable for the Spiders. \n<\/p>\n
