{"id":1329,"date":"2017-11-17T09:40:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-17T15:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/?p=1329"},"modified":"2018-06-17T10:31:14","modified_gmt":"2018-06-17T15:31:14","slug":"dock-spiders-announce-2018-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/2017\/11\/17\/dock-spiders-announce-2018-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Dock Spiders Announce 2018 Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOND DU LAC, WI \u2013 It\u2019s time to get out your calendars because the Dock Spiders have announced their 2018 schedule!\u00a0 The Dock Spiders will open their second season on Tuesday, May 29 on the road against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.\u00a0 The home opener for the Dock Spiders will be on Thursday, May 31 at Marian University\u2019s Herr-Baker Field against the Rockford Rivets at 6:35pm.<\/p>\n<p>The Dock Spiders are scheduled to play 72 games \u2013 36 home and 36 away \u2013 during the upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p>Fond du Lac has two day\/night-home\/away doubleheaders on the schedule with the Green Bay Bullfrogs.\u00a0 The first will be on Wednesday, June 27 with the Dock Spiders hosting the Bullfrogs at 11:35am and traveling to Green Bay for a game at 7:05pm.\u00a0 The teams will also meet on Wednesday, August 1 with the day game at Joannes Stadium at 11:05am and the night game in Fond du Lac at 6:35pm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur inaugural season was great last year, and we can\u2019t wait to get fans back out to the ballpark starting May 31<sup>st<\/sup>.\u201d said Ryan Moede, the General Manager of the Dock Spiders.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to bigger and better things in 2018!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Northwoods League schedule is divided into two halves.\u00a0 The first half will end on Tuesday, July 3.\u00a0 The second half starts on Wednesday, July 4 with a home game against the Kenosha Kingfish at an earlier 5:05 PM start time.<\/p>\n<p>Game times for the Dock Spiders will be 1:05pm on Sundays and 6:35pm for all other games except for two games (June 4 and June 20) which will start at 11:35am.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2017\/11\/2018-Dock-Spiders_Schedule_PreSeason.pdf\">HERE <\/a>for the printable 2018 schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Season ticket and 7-Game ticket packages are currently available at <a href=\"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/tickets\/season-tickets\/\">www.dockspiders.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Team merchandise for all your holiday shopping needs is currently available for <a href=\"https:\/\/squareup.com\/store\/fond-du-lac-baseball-club\">purchase at the team store<\/a> on-line or at the Dock Spiders front office.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Entering its 25th anniversary season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 20 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
