Young went for a complete game allowing 7 hits and 2 runs. It was the first time this season that a Fondy pitcher has made it the distance.<\/p>\n<p>Fond du Lac would get on the board early when <strong>Troy Black<\/strong>\u00a0sent one into right field which sent home the first run of the ball game. Chris Ayers (Indiana State) would pick up an RBI in the 2nd frame after grounding into second for out number two but <strong>Cole Zwboski (Ole Miss)\u00a0<\/strong>who recorded a single earlier in the inning would touch home plate for a quick 2-0 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Rockford was able to grab their first run of the ball game in the top of the 5th but the Spiders would come back and answer with one of their own in the bottom of the frame. <strong>Troy Black<\/strong>\u00a0would get his second RBI of the game sending <strong>Alex Erro (<\/strong><b>Northwestern)\u00a0<\/b>home who had a one out double in the inning.<\/p>\n<p>Fondy would lead 3-1 heading into the 9th inning looking for their 3oth win of the season. A one run home run in the inning would not be enough as the Dock Spiders held on for a 3-2 win.<\/p>\n<p>Fond du Lac will host the Kenosha Kingfish for a two game stand starting tomorrow night at 6:35 PM.<\/p>\n<p><i>The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
