{"id":2232,"date":"2019-02-08T11:05:04","date_gmt":"2019-02-08T17:05:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/?p=2232"},"modified":"2019-06-04T09:58:23","modified_gmt":"2019-06-04T14:58:23","slug":"dock-spiders-looking-for-game-day-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/2019\/02\/08\/dock-spiders-looking-for-game-day-staff\/","title":{"rendered":"Dock Spiders Looking For Game Day Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FOND DU LAC, WI \u2013 The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are looking for you to become a part of their game-day staff for the 2019 season.\u00a0 The Dock Spiders are currently accepting applications for part-time, seasonal, game day positions.\u00a0 Applications can be picked up at the Dock Spiders front office (980 E Division St.) or on-line at <a href=\"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/employment\/game-day-positions\/\">www.dockspiders.com<\/a>.\u00a0 Here is a complete listing of jobs available for those interested:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Stadium Operations and Customer Service Game Day\/Evening Positions:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Fan Assistance Booth<\/strong> \u2013 Assist front office staff with the operation of Fan Assistance during each game.\u00a0 Focus is on complete stadium knowledge, strong customer service rapport, quick decision making skills, and professional judgment.\u00a0 Fans check in at the Fan Assistance Center for on-field activities, emergency PA requests, and to pick up prizes during the game.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Security \u2013 <\/strong>Responsible for fan safety.\u00a0 Must be over 21, with some experience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promo Crew \u2013<\/strong> Assist with in-game promotions and get fans excited and involved in the game<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ushers<\/strong> \u2013 Responsibilities include pre-game prep, greeting and assisting fans to their seats, watch crowd for problems or injuries during game, assist fans safely out at the end of the game.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Retail Store \u2013 <\/strong>Assist fans with checking out in the team store and help maintain the store appearance during games.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Video Production \u2013 <\/strong>Operate or direct video equipment\/cameras for the Northwoods League video stream.\u00a0 Previous video production or camera experience is a plus.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kid\u2019s Zone Games \u2013 <\/strong>Interact with kids who are playing with the Speed Pitch or Bounce House.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bat Boy \u2013 <\/strong>Must be 16 years or older.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/fond-du-lac-dock-spiders\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/22\/2018\/02\/2018_DS_GameDay_Application.pdf\">2019 Dock Spiders Employment Application<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Concessions Positions:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kitchen managers, Cooks &amp; Kitchen Staff<\/strong> &#8211; Primary responsibilities include planning, preparation and cooking of meals for baseball games.\u00a0 A basic understanding of the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Servers<\/strong> &#8211; Must be 18, with some server experience. Completion of liquor license course a plus but not required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concession Stand Server<\/strong> \u2013 Responsible for the distribution of food and beverage out of concession stands or kiosks.\u00a0 Must be 18 or older.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concession Stand Register Operator<\/strong> \u2013 Primary responsibilities include taking food and beverage orders, cash handling, and customer interaction.
