After losing on a walk off the night before to the Green Bay Booyah, the Dock Spiders decided to have their own celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Connor Cook (UW-La Crosse) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">started the game and gave up a quick two runs in the first inning of work, and then settled in for the rest of his outing. Cook went seven strong and allowed two earned runs while striking out seven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A lead off single from <\/span><b>Andrew Schleusner (Montana State Billings) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in the bottom of the fifth would get things started for the Dock Spiders. Schleusner would move all the way around the bases and finally come home and score the first run on a wild pitch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Then in the bottom of the sixth another lead off man got on. <\/span><b>Andrew Bullock (Western Carolina) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">had three hits to his credit tonight and would come home and tie the game up on a <\/span><b>Zack Prajzner (Notre Dame) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sac fly. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Ryan Miller (Benedictine)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> came in for the last two innings and gave up a run in the eighth to put the Dock Spiders behind 3-2. The Dock Spiders would threaten with two men on in the bottom of the eighth. But they couldn\u2019t capitalize. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the bottom of the ninth the Dock Spiders loaded the bases up with one out and it was up to <\/span><b>Drew Hmielewski (Minnesota)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, as he delivered a ground ball down the first base line to score two runs and win the game 4-3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Next up for the Dock Spiders is tomorrow night at 6:35 PM CST against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
