ASHWAUBENON, WI\u2014 The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (0-1) dropped their first game of the second half to the Green Bay Booyah (1-0). <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Dock Spiders sent <\/span>Aaron Ball Jr. (Kankakee) <\/b>to the mound and would give up four runs. The Dock Spiders would strike first in the first inning. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tim Elko (Mississippi) <\/b>delivered an RBI single in the first inning. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Booyah would come back in the second and tack on two runs to make it 2-1. The Dock Spiders offense would stall out for the most part until the late innings. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After two more runs came across against Ball, it was <\/span>Bubba Horton (Minnesota) <\/b>who would come out of the bullpen. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

An opposite field home-run by <\/span>Aaron Anderson (Flagler) <\/b>would cut into the deficit and make it 4-2. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Booyah would strike for an insurance run in the seventh to make it 5-2. The Dock Spiders never quit offensively. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Two runs would come home in the eighth to chop the game within one. A sac fly by Anderson and an RBI single by <\/span>Kellen Sarver (Illinois) <\/b>would do the job. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the ninth the Dock Spiders would get a runner to third after a controversial call at first. But they couldn\u2019t bring home the run. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Dock Spiders would go on to lose 5-4. They\u2019re back home tomorrow afternoon against the Booyah. 1:05 PM CST first pitch as it is \u201cMilitary Appreciation Day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
