1) How did you first hear about the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders and learn about an opportunity of competing for them?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I first heard about the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders my freshman year in the fall. Coach Charbonneau reached out to my coaching staff at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock to play in the summer of 2018, however, I was shut down for the summer due to an innings quota set by my coaching staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2) What was your favorite moment from the 2019 season?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I have two moments from the summer that are my favorite. One of them was starting the home opener of the 2019 season and seeing the stands packed with people who wanted to show their support. The second would have to be the Andrew Hmielewski walk off on June 5<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3) What was it like playing baseball in the Midwest this past summer?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Being from Kansas, I didn\u2019t expect a huge difference from what it is like playing at home, but I was wrong. Playing in Fondy was a gift! The <\/span>weather was awesome for the most part.<\/span><\/p>\n

4) How did the Northwoods League experience help you grow as a player?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It really helped me figure out who I was as a pitcher. Playing against top level talent everyday forces you to step up your game. It taught me consistency in showing up and getting my work in everyday, regardless if I was pitching or not.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5) How was your Fall Ball season? What are your expectations for your college team this season?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

My fall season with Little Rock went great and I hope to continue to build off that to help my team win this spring. I believe that we are going to compete at a high level and be able to complete the goals we set as a team.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6) What advice would you provide future players who are coming to play for the Dock Spiders and in the Northwoods League?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To players coming to Fond du Lac I would say get to know the Flores family and Kilawee family. I would also say make sure you take the time to bond with the guys on your team and the awesome people who are behind the scenes. They will end up being some of your best friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7) What is your long-term goal after college?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The long-term goal after college would be to play professional baseball and be able to compete at the highest level. When baseball is over being a financial advisor for athletes would be second job of choice.<\/p>\n
