FOND DU LAC, WI \u2013 The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders will be hosting a “Baseball at the Bank” event on Wednesday, March 11. The event is schedule to take place from 6-7pm at Horicon Bank (854 E Johnson St., Fond du Lac, WI). Zac Charbonneau, the team\u2019s returning on-field manager, and General Manager, Chris Ward, will be on hand to discuss the 2020 season and the preliminary roster.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zac will also be available for autographs from 6-6:15pm. Weaver, the Dock Spiders fun-loving mascot, will be available for photos as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doors open at 6pm and complimentary light snacks will be available. The program will start at 6:15pm. Admission is FREE and the first 100 fans at the event will be entered to win a VIP Suite for a 2020 home game!<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans who attend the event will also see the unveiling of the new 2020 Dock Spiders on-field road hats. Those in attendance will have the first opportunity to purchase the new road on-field hats.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dock Spiders will begin their season at home on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:35pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Having completed its\u2019 26th<\/sup> season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, over 230 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time All-Star and 2016 Roberto Clemente Award winner Curtis Granderson, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist (CHC) and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS).
