On the flip side, the Rafters, who came in with the best earned run average in the pod, were able to silence the league&#8217;s best-hitting team in the Dock Spiders in a strong showing from their rotation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin Rapids went up 1-0 after bringing home a run in their first ups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fond du Lac took the lead for the time being after they were also able to plate two in their first inning at the plate.\u00a0<strong>AJ Miller (University of Oregon)\u00a0<\/strong>launched a double into right-center to tie the game, and\u00a0<strong>Kollyn All (Butler University)\u00a0<\/strong>brought home the second and final run on a sacrifice fly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Rafters put up a three-spot in the third inning to go up for good. They would add runs in the final three innings as well, scoring seven between the seventh and ninth inning to get to double digits and win 11-2 for their fourth consecutive victory.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Dock Spiders will end the regular season on the road and take on the Rafters from Witter Field tonight at 6:35.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<article id=\"post-4152\" class=\"post-4152 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry category-team-news category-the-hot-corner category-update-ticker\"><em>The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
