FOND DU LAC, WI \u2013 Rounding Third<\/em> presented by Central Standard Craft Distillery improves an already popular space at Marian University\u2019s Herr-Baker Field by adding a full-service bar to serve spirits, cocktails, and beer. Set along the third-base foul line, all fans will be able to access Rounding Third<\/em> to visit with family and friends, play popular yard games, and enjoy views of the action on the field.<\/p>\n

Central Standard Craft Distillery, a small batch, craft distillery in Milwaukee and the fastest growing top-10 Wisconsin-based distiller, handcrafts award-winning, bourbon, whiskey, vodka, and gin from locally sourced ingredients. Founded in 2014, Central Standard spirits have won 37 medals across multiple categories for their craft distilling. Central Standard\u2019s portfolio of premium spirits includes Red Cabin Bourbon, Door County Cherry Vodka, and North Wisconsin Brandy. They also have launched Pour Ready Premium Cocktails just in time for summer with flavors Door County Cherry Lemonade and Door County Cherry Mule. The Dock Spiders begin their sixth season on Memorial Day (May 30) against the Wausau Woodchucks at 1:05 p.m. at Marian University\u2019s Herr-Baker Field. In five seasons as part of the Northwoods League, the Dock Spiders have made the playoffs three times and have won two league championships. A total of twenty former Dock Spiders players have been drafted by Major League Baseball teams. The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Having completed its\u2019 27th<\/sup> season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires, and front office staff, over 250 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time All-Star and 2016 Roberto Clemente Award winner Curtis Granderson, three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS).
