Johnny Holm Band to kick off 50th Sam McQuade Sr. Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament

BISMARCK, ND – The 50th annual Sam McQuade Sr. Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament will kick off Thursday, June 26 at the historic Bismarck Depot with Johnny Holm Band, live in concert.

The concert is a 21+ event and offers the perfect chance to gather your friends, enjoy great live music, and celebrate 50 years of the USA’s largest charity slowpitch softball tournament. A portion of sales from the event will directly support the charity tournament.

“To be celebrating our 50th year of this amazing event seems surreal,” Shannon McQuade-Ely, the President of McQuade Distributing Co., Inc. said. “It’s great that our community continues to support us and our charities.”

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The 50th annual Sam McQuade Sr. Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament runs Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29. Since its inception in 1976, the tournament has welcomed over 18,000 teams, with more than $2 million raised for charities.

Each year, 5,000 players and 10,000 fans take part in the action across 44 diamonds, with unforgettable moments like visits from the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales.
