The Initiative<\/p><\/div>

Home Runs for Roots is a community-driven initiative that connects the excitement of Grand Forks softball to our city’s growth. For every home run hit during the season at Albrecht Field, a new tree will be planted in the community.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

For each home run hit by the Grand Forks Spitfires, Oxford Realty will sponsor the planting of one tree within the community in collaboration with local park and recreation, neighborhood associations, or homeowners.<\/p>\n

Fans can nominate their yard or public spaces in need to “grow with the Spitfires.” At the end of the season, we’ll host a tree-planting day to come together and plant the trees.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
