The public can make submissions at<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/grandforkssoftball.com\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">GrandForksSoftball.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. The Team Name Contest, presented by Farmers Union Insurance, includes prizes for finalists and the winning submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWe have received over 200 name ideas so far, and it has been truly unbelievable feeling the excitement and the support for the team from the community so far,\u201d said Roberto Lemus, General Manager of the team. \u201cWe encourage fans to keep submitting ideas. These ideas are also helping us learn more about the city, the community\u2019s history, and what people want to see from the team. We are beyond excited to see more names this final week, and then to share this fun and exciting process alongside the Grand Forks community!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The best three to five names will be announced the week of September 1. A public vote will then take place throughout the month to determine the winning name. The winning name, alongside the logo, will then be announced at an event at Albrecht Field in October.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prize: <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All finalists will receive (2) tickets to Opening Day, with a meal included as well as an inaugural season hat or visor.
