{"id":38171,"date":"2026-07-06T14:24:56","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T19:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/grand-forks-spitfires\/?p=38171"},"modified":"2026-07-06T14:24:56","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T19:24:56","slug":"northwoods-league-announces-2026-softball-all-star-game-rosters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwoodsleague.com\/grand-forks-spitfires\/2026\/07\/06\/northwoods-league-announces-2026-softball-all-star-game-rosters\/","title":{"rendered":"NORTHWOODS LEAGUE ANNOUNCES 2026 SOFTBALL ALL-STAR GAME ROSTERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">GRAND FORKS, ND \u2013 The Northwoods League has officially announced the rosters for the 2026 Northwoods League Softball All-Star Game, recognizing the league\u2019s top performers for an unforgettable showcase of talent featuring the best players from across the league.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 2026 All-Star Game will feature two teams divided by geography, with the East All-Stars representing the La Crosse Steam, Madison Night Mares, and Wausau Ignite, while the West All-Stars will be made up of players from the Grand Forks Spitfires, Mankato Habaneros, and Minot Honeybees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The coaching staffs for this year\u2019s All-Star Game have also been announced. The Madison Night Mares coaching staff will lead the East All-Stars, while the Grand Forks Spitfires coaching staff, led by Head Coach Alvarez, will guide the West All-Stars. The honor is awarded to the teams leading their respective divisions at this point in the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Grand Forks Spitfires will be well represented on the West roster, with Ally Hetzel (C), Taylor Larson (3B), Alex Graham (OF), Emma Peeples (OF), and Mattison Kwarta (P) earning All-Star selections after outstanding performances throughout the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before the All-Star Game, fans will also be treated to the annual Northwoods League Softball Home Run Challenge, featuring some of the league\u2019s most powerful hitters competing for bragging rights.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 2026 Home Run Challenge participants include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hilary Blomberg \u2013 Madison Night Mares<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mattison Kwarta \u2013 Grand Forks Spitfires<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ava Carroll \u2013 Madison Night Mares<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Danielle Lucey \u2013 Madison Night Mares<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Josie Brudos \u2013 La Crosse Steam<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Marley Teasley \u2013 Wausau Ignite<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sara Simon \u2013 Minot Honeybees<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mickayla Tosch \u2013 Madison Night Mares<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This year&#8217;s All-Star Game celebrates the incredible talent across the Northwoods League Softball circuit while giving fans the opportunity to watch the league&#8217;s brightest stars compete on one field.
