Ashwaubenon, WI–  The Green Bay Booyah were shutout for the second time this season on Wednesday night at home against Fond du Lac. The Booyah fell 2-0 to the Dock Spiders.

 

At the plate, Green Bay struck out a total of 12 times against five total pitchers for the Dock Spiders. Jarrett Ford was the only player to record two hits on the day, going 2-4 with a double. In total, the Booyah left six runners on base and went 0-8 with runners in scoring position.

 

On the rubber, Nick Riggle was handed his second loss of the season after going six total innings and only allowing one earned run. Riggle was truly masterful in his fourth appearance, allowing only five hits and lowering his ERA by .75. Also in the bullpen, Bobby Dorta went 3 innings, gave up one run and struck out one Dock Spider hitter.

 

Tomorrow, Green Bay travels to Wisconsin Rapids for a double header with the Rafters. Jack Mahoney starts in game one at 4:05, with Garrett Martin following in game number two. It’ll be the first two games at Witter Field this season for Green Bay.
