Ashwaubenon, WI –   The Green Bay Booyah dominated at the dish for the second consecutive night as they scored 18 runs in an 18-8 victory over the Growlers.

 

Kalamazoo hopped out in front early, scoring the first five runs of the game. The Growlers struck for three runs in the second and two runs in the third. In the bottom of the third, Green Bay scored for the first time when Jacob Buchberger came across home on a double play.

 

At the plate, Buchberger led the way for Green Bay, going 4-5 with a home run and five RBIs on the day. Joe Mason finished the day 1-1, with a home run, two walks, two RBIs, and three runs scored. Mason is now hitting above .300 on the season. Chris Williams stayed hot by going 2-4 with two runs scored. Cooper Morrison notched a three-hit game while picking up a season high three RBIs. Jarrett Ford and Blake West combined for two triples on the day with three RBIs. The 18 offensive runs tied a Green Bay record for most runs in a single game.

 

On the mound, starter Nick Riggle got a no decision after going five innings, allowing six total runs. Chandler Ingram picked up the win, going two innings and striking out one. Ingram did not allow a run in his two-innings pitched. Logan Lee finished the game for Green Bay, getting two strikeouts and allowing a single earned run.

 

The Booyah try to keep the winning streak going tomorrow on the road in Lakeshore. Zach Chappell is on the mound at Kapco Park, with a first pitch set for 6:35 p.m.
