Madison, WI – <\/em>\u00a0\u00a0The Green Bay Booyah scored 16 runs in game one of the double header in a 16-6 win on Wednesday before falling 8-5 in the night cap against the Mallards.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In game one, Green Bay put up 15 hits and picked up 14 walks all while scoring 16 runs in the win over the Mallards. The Booyah put up their most runs in an inning so far this season when they scored nine runs in the top of the fifth.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cooper Morrison led the way in game one by going 2-2 with two walks, two singles, and two runs scored. Nick Kreutzer hit a three-run home run in the top of the fifth, and finished the day 2-5. Blaise Maris also had a home run for Green Bay on a solo shot over the left field wall. Mike Ruggiero also went 2-4 on the day with two singles and two runs scored in game one.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the mound for the first game, Nick Riggle earned the win after going 5.1 innings and giving up three earned runs in relief. The win for Riggle was his second of the season, and it came in his first appearance out of the bullpen on the year. Starter Chris Roycroft went 3.2 innings, gave up three runs, and came away with three strikeouts in his first start of the season with Green Bay.<\/p>\n

In game two, Brady West continued to produce at the plate after going 2-4 with an RBI and a walk. Mike Ferri picked up three hits in four plate appearances, and Ali LaPread extended his hit streak to five games after going 1-3 with an RBI and a walk.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the mound, starter Dalton Wiggins went six solid innings of work, giving up just one earned run on the mound in his second start of the season. Out of the bullpen, Will Saxton was handed the loss after going two innings and giving up two earned runs in relief.<\/p>\n

Green Bay now heads to Lakeshore for a two-game set against the Chinooks on Thursday and Friday night. First pitch tomorrow is set for 6:35 p.m.<\/p>\n
