You will become an instant celebrity!<\/p>\n<p>Auditions will be on Saturday March 28<sup>th<\/sup> to determine who will don the costumes for the 2020 season. All interested candidates should report to the VerHalen Club at Capital Credit Union Park by\u00a01:00 pm\u00a0on\u00a0Saturday, March 28th\u00a0with the tryouts concluding when everyone has had an opportunity to display their skills.<\/p>\n<p>All participants will be asked to perform an original dance and act out other potential skits that may be required for the position in front of a panel of judges at the ballpark.<\/p>\n<p>Job Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Available for all home games and possible playoff games.<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and motivated individuals to promote our business.<\/li>\n<li>Have tremendous spirit!<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to perform all of the above while being pursued by dozens of children who merely wish to express their true love and passion for you.<\/li>\n<li>Previous acting experience preferred but not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please RSVP to Kevin Leisgang at\u00a0Kevin@booyahbaseball.com\u00a0by\u00a0Friday, March 18<sup>th<\/sup> if you are interested in participating in the mascot tryout. The Northwoods League is the proven leader in the development of elite college baseball players. Having completed its\u2019 26<sup>th<\/sup> season, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 22 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, over 230 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time Cy Young Award winner and World Series Champion Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champions Ben Zobrist (CHC) and Brandon Crawford (SFG) and World Series Champion Chris Sale (BOS), as well as 2019 Rookie of the Year and Home Run Derby Champion Pete Alonso (NYM) and MLB All-Stars Jordan Zimmermann (DET) and Curtis Granderson (MIA).
