Ashwaubenon, WI \u2013 <\/em>The Green Bay Booyah look to win back-to-back games for the first time in the 2020 season as they face Rockford in the finale of a two-game series.<\/p>\n

Last night, the Booyah scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning, and never looked back after that on their way to a 5-3 victory over the Rivets. Kaukauna High School alumni Grant Emme drove in three runs for Green Bay on Friday night, as he continues to tear the stitches off the baseball. The Eastern Illinois product leads the Wisconsin-Illinois pod with the most RBIs this season, having seven runs driven in.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the mound, Green Bay used five pitchers, including Saint Cloud State’s Avery Stephens, who picked up his first win of the year. Stephens threw two shutout innings without allowing a hit. Montevallo senior Chandler Ingram pitched two innings, giving up just one run, and collecting his first save in 2020.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today, Wright State\u2019s Riley Perlich makes his first start for the Booyah. The Fort Wayne, IN native had a 2.45 ERA during the shortened 2020 year, with five strikeouts in just three and two-thirds innings pitched. His best outing of the year came against Miami on March 10th<\/sup>, when he went one inning and put three Hurricane batters down on strikes.<\/p>\n
