Green Bay win back-to-back games<\/em><\/p>\n

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. \u2013<\/em> The Green Bay Booyah defeated the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at Witter Field on Sunday, 6-2.<\/p>\n

The Booyah got out to an early lead when Tyler Hollow (Dixie State) hit a double the opposite way that scored Johnny Hipsman (Richmond) in the second. The Booyah tacked on another in third when Jake Berg (Jacksonville) pulled a single to right field that plated Dalton Pearson (Georgia State). In the fourth, Preston Hall (College of Charleston) hit a solo home run to right field, his first of the season.<\/p>\n

Green Bay would add another two in the sixth when Hollow hit a single that scored Hipsman and Nick Dagnello (College of Charleston) hit one the opposite way that scored Jake Schroeder (Northern Illinois).<\/p>\n

The Rafters would threaten in the seventh inning. After loading the bases and scoring one with one away, Boston Mabeus (BYU) was facing a pinch hitter in Andrew Duran. Duran hit a line drive back at Mabeus who caught the comebacker and flipped to first for the inning ending double play.<\/p>\n

In the ninth, the Booyah got a little insurance thanks to Dayson Croes\u2019 (Quincy) single the other way that scored Elias Flowers (Jacksonville).<\/p>\n

The Rafters scored one in the ninth and had the tying-run at the plate, but he flew out to Pearson on the warning track to end the game.<\/p>\n

Evan Estridge (Clemson) pitched six-plus innings, allowing four hits and just one run. He did not allow a walk and punched out eight hitters. He picked up his third win of the season to improve to 3-3.<\/p>\n

The Green Bay Booyah will be back at Capital Credit Union Park on Monday to take on the Rafters. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 pm.
