Wausau picks up an 11-6 victory at Capital Credit Union Park<\/em><\/p>\n

Ashwaubenon, Wis. \u2013 The Woodchucks defeated the Rockers in Ashwaubenon Thursday night.<\/p>\n

The Woodchucks started the scoring off in the first with two in. The first came on an error and the second on a groundout.<\/p>\n

Green Bay responded to take a 3-2 lead. Collier Cranford had an RBI groundout, then Matt Scannell hit a two-run home run to cap it off.<\/p>\n

The Woodchucks hit two solo home runs to reclaim the lead in the fourth. Zach Levenson and Collin Reuter each hit a solo shot.<\/p>\n

Owen Jackson hit a two-run home run to make it a 5-4 Rockers lead in the bottom of the fifth.<\/p>\n

In the seventh, the Woodchucks scored three runs on four hits, capped off by a two-run homer by Mark Shallenberger.<\/p>\n

Tristin Garcia cut the lead to one in the seventh, when he hit his second home run of the year over the wall in right.<\/p>\n

The Woodchucks scored twice in the eighth. Shallenberger had another RBI in the frame.<\/p>\n

In the ninth, Ryan Sepede hit his third home run of the season to left to make the Woodchuck lead 11-6.<\/p>\n

Green Bay looks to turn the page Friday as they host the Madison Mallards for the second time this year.<\/p>\n

Chris Sleeper is set to pitch for Green Bay, and Beau Nichols will throw for Madison. First pitch from Ashwaubenon is set for 6:35 p.m.<\/p>\n
